The Lord makes our weaknesses strong, if we rely on him. :)

so two weeks ago i was asked to give a training at district meeting on(wednesday) "How to Use The Book of Mormon to Respond to Objections" i was nervous and i tryed memorizing my talk, but it didnt go as well as i had planned, and my mind blanked . However,  I know that Heavenly Father wants me to strengthen this weakness i have of speaking in front of a lot of people. That night i prayed and asked God to help me overcome this and to  give me opportunities where is can improve on that. My answer was that i have to face my fears, i knew that the only way to do that is if i am given more assignments to speak, but if i was really willing to do His will not mine I would have to be ok with what He places before me, even if i didn't like the idea.
The friday after My companion and I were asked to give a talk on a scripture, all four missionaries were give the same scripture tio give on sunday , and we all took it different directions, my companion's topic was "loving people into the Fold" hers was my favorite, she shared Ammon's story and how because of his service, king lamoni was willing to listen and learn from what power he gets his strength. Mine was on FEllowshipping and  being an example of the believers.  To my astonishment i wasn't nearly as nervous and i went by what they needed to hear, covering the points in my talk without reading my talk , likening the scriptures unto them for their own profit and application. We both felt so acccomplished after that, now i see that when we really rely on the Lord he can give us the  peace and help we need . On the mission you learn to rely on Him more than ever before, for everything, and it is AWESOME :D. If you think that  that was all He had in store for me , well,  you are wrong.
I was asked to give another training on "Adjusting to Missionary Life" for that week at Zone Meeting ( more missionaries) i think that was insopired for the Lord knew that i needed to improve on how i give trainings. It was fun and i chose not to stress about it so i just shared some cool scriptures and how Alma and Amuleck had a lot of trials and not much success at first  Alma 17:5 Now these are the circumstances which attended them in their journeyings, for they had many afflictions; they did suffer much, both in body and in mind, such as hunger, thirst and fatigue, and also much alabor in the spirit. We also as modern missionaries suffer much, both body, mind and labor  in the spirit. We work for them , we pray  for them, we serve them, we pracrtice for them, we teach them according to thier needs and form our hearts and when they don't repent and come unto Christ, when they don't read or come to chruch , we get disappointed in them and a little sad. Nonetheless, i have learned that no missionary is suppose to have sucess all the time, because we have to go through t a process of refinement , He needs to shape us into who He wants us to become, then we can be an instrument in his hands to bring many souls to repentance. We need to learn to be humble, patient, full of love, determination, bold, and to pray with more real intent and many other things. My training was on how we can cope with the Stresses of missionary work and how in turn we will work more efficiantly. I had them think of negative thoughts that come to our heads such as" my companion must think i am an idiot" to " i dont know what my companion thinks about me, i should ask if i did something to upset her and fix the problem"
another "that lesson was a disaster!"  to " It is good that i want to improve, what can we work on for hte next lesson."
thus we serve the Lord with a cheerful heart and hearts, mights, minds and strenghts!
Well i love you all sorrry i dont have time to write more about our awesome lessons this week but i hope this can help someone :)

  1. You go sister. You are unstoppable. Grab that fear, throw it on the ground and move on with faith and strength. And winter is around the corner.
